CWF Mid-Atlantic is proud to present "Invincible" this Saturday night
LIVE at the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium. This huge card features a main event
singles match that has never happened anywhere before and CWF is thrilled to
bring this unique match-up to the fans of the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium!
They are without question two of the Mid-Atlantic's most well-known
superstars, most outstanding wrestlers, most decorated champions and most
charismatic figures. They hold championship records and their talents are in
demand from promoters all over the Mid-Atlantic. Yet they have never met in a
one-on-one match. But that changes this weekend as CWF Mid-Atlantic is proud to
present a blockbuster first time ever anywhere main event this Saturday night
at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium. This Saturday night, come out to witness the
very first singles match-up ever pitting "DANGEROUS E" COREY EDSEL
vs. the newly crowned Mid-Atlantic Television Champion JOEY SILVIA!
Silvia shocked the CWF Superfans by capturing the MId-Atlantic Television
Championship from Lee Valiant at the 9th Annual CWF Rumble when a profusely
bleeding Valiant was deemed unable to continue. This is far from an ideal first
title defense against the capable and dangerous Edsel, but as new champion
Silvia has to fulfill the previous champ's commitments. As Lee Valiant was a
fighting champion that wanted to defend against all comers and not be
restricted to the 10-min time limit, this main event bout has been granted a
special 30 minute time limit!
Edsel's first reign as Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion lasted 14 months, the
longest reign for a singles champion to date in Mid-Atlantic history. The
second longest reign was the year-long Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship
run of Joey Silvia. Those records go all the way back to the glory days of Jim
Crockett Promotions and this match presents Edsel with the unique opportunity
to become a double champion, a feat very few have accomplished in CWF history.
Edsel will outweigh the champion by more than 200 pounds and is undeniably the
best pure striker in CWF history. The punching and kicking power possessed by
"Dangerous E" busts up people's insides. Silvia has matched up
against bigger opponents before and won, but will need all his quickness, all
his wits and a masterful game plan from Destiny mastermind Ty Dillinger to
escape with his title this Saturday night.
One has to wonder what kind of shape Dillinger is in after a grueling and
brutal grudge match with Lee Valiant last week at CWF MAX Maskacre resulted in
Dillinger's arm being crushed with a steel chair. The Destiny manager had vowed
to end Valiant's career but it was Valiant who gained a measure of revenge.
That war is not over and Valiant has publicly sworn to confront Destiny again
this Saturday and specifically the man who took the TV Title from him, Joey
Silvia.
CWF MAX Maskacre also saw the shocking debut of CHARLIE BROWN FROM OUTTA TOWN,
who Dillinger insists is Rob McBride. The "Boogie Woogie Man" was
forced to leave CWF after a crooked loss to Dillinger and sent word to CWF
officials that Charlie Brown from Outta Town was an old friend he was sending
into the CWF rings to fight on his behalf Dillinger. Brown will be in action on
Saturday and the always opinionated Destiny manager will undoubtedly have words
about this situation at "Invincible."
Also expected to address the crowd this Saturday is Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight
Champion BRASS MUNKEY after he shockingly lashed out against tag-team partner
KAMAKAZI KID last week at CWF MAX Maskacre. Talk has run through the locker
room that the title belt may have corrupted Munkey and led to the attack on
Kazi, although Munkey continues to deny any involvement. Their friendship has
been tested to the limit and we hope to get to the bottom of this situation
Saturday night at the Sportatorium.
Rookie sensation ARIK ROYAL will be in the house just weeks removed from his
stunning CWF Rumble win! Will we hear from the big man who he wants to
challenge with his guaranteed title shot? Will someone try to test the
powerhouse who many are calling the most impressive rookie in CWF history?!
Plus the stars of the Rising Generation League will be in action, gearing up
for the start of the RGL Tournament on November 20th at Projekt X! In action
this Saturday, STONEY HOOKER returns to a CWF ring to face CHASE DAKOTA; RGL

Producing Canadian stars Hugh B. "Bad News" Johnson and PWI
International Trios Champions Los Mercenarios Canadianese, O'Neill, McAllister
& Banks left the arena, missing out on their team taking a humiliating
defeat at the hands of Brad Stutt's team.
+++"Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia defeated TV Champion Lee Valiant in a
war of attrition by outlasting his outnumbered opponent who was brutally
attacked by Silvia's teammate "High Definition" Steve Greene with a
steel chain as Valiant made his entrance into the arena. Referee Redd Jones
stopped the bout when Valiant was no longer able to respond to him, awarding
the title to Silvia.
+++Brass Munkey v. Kamakazi Kid. Wow. Just wow. Twenty one minutes of
hard-hitting high-flying action with former champion "the 1st" Ric
Converse sticking his nose into the proceedings in the closing minutes after
abandoning the broadcast position.
+++Arik Royal celebrated his one year anniversary in CWF Mid Atlantic with a
surprising victory in the 9th Annual CWF RUMBLE! Thirty men entered and Arik
took the twenty-ninth competitor, "High Definition" Steve Greene, for
a ride over the top ropes to the floor for his choice of a shot at any title
controlled by CWF Mid Atlantic.

+++Showtyme's Trevor Lee disappeared under the ring during his singles
bout against Chiva Kid, emerging as the masked Ultra Dragon. What a treat it
was to see the colors of the Kamakazi Kid and the colors of the Ultra Dragon
doing battle once again in the squared circle.
+++Gemini Kid and Arik Royal battled in a Trick Or Treat Rules Match, where the
ring official hangs four baskets of candy on each ringpost. One of the four
contained a pair of brass knuckles, which must be used to win the bout. Gemini
Kid produced his own brass knuckles as Royal acquired the "legal"
set, but was unable to connect as Royal finished the veteran off.
+++The most bizarre happening in CWF-MAX history may have occured in a
"ECW Tribute" eight man match which saw Brass Munkey, Kamakazi Kid,
"Jersey" Nick Richards, "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel &
manager Brad Stutts go into character and dismantled the Canadians before more
classic ECW characters emerged and entered the fray. RGL Champion Matt Smith
entered as Raven, hitting the ring and having emotional problems sitting in the
corner and moments later Showtyme's Justin Duke hit the ring as Rob Van Dam
with Trevor Lee dressed as his annoying manager. Of course, the beginning of
the end was when someone portraying New Jack hit the ring area with a barrel
full of plunder, which was quickly put to use by the competitors in the ring.
+++Ty Dillinger and Lee Valiant tore down the house, brawling, fighting, and
generally displaying their dislike of each other. Both men took advantage of
the other during the course of the match, using chairs and their own bodies to
inflict punishment in a back and forth battle. Nearing the fourteen minute mark
of the bout, Dillinger was ascending the ropes to drop on a helpless Valiant,
who had a steel chair resting against his skull on the canvas and a newcomer
made his debut in CWF Mid Atlantic. Charlie Brown, who tells us he's from
"out of town" hit the ring area, attacking Dillinger before he could
finish off Lee Valiant. The official did not stop the No DQ - No Countout
match, but rather put himself into position to stop the bout as Dillinger
tapped out to Valiant. Charlie Brown hung out to help celebrate as Gemini Kid
led the injured Dillinger out of the arena.
