Moments later, Ali creates an opening to gain control off a rolling neckbreaker. Ali spikes him with a short DDT for two. Sabin avoids the 450 Splash, allowing him to regain his composure. Sabin hits a tornado DDT out of the corner. Both men are down after exchanging superkicks. Sabin catches Ali with mid-air offense but it’s not enough to keep him down. Nic Nemeth and Speedball Mountain vow to take Steve Maclin and the Rascalz to the Danger Zone tonight.
We Hear From Josh Alexander
After falling to Hammerstone last Friday at Sacrifice, Alexander had his signature headgear stolen by his opponent. Alexander is in the ring and says that his goal is to reclaim the TNA World Championship, which is the title he held for longer than anyone else in company history. Alexander turns his attention towards Hammerstone and says that the headgear isn’t his identity, it’s his heart and fighting spirit that make him who he is. Alexander sends a warning that for the first time, he’s no longer thinking about the TNA World Championship, he’s focused on kicking Hammerstone’s ass. Alexander calls him out but Alpha Bravo and Oleg Prudius make their way to ringside instead. Bravo claims that the reason Alexander lost to Hammerstone was because Dirty Dango softened him up last week. Dango attacks Alexander from behind but security breaks it up before Prudius cant get involved. Director of Authority Santino Marella makes an impromptu match between Alexander and Prudius right now!
Josh Alexander vs. Oleg Prudius w/ Dirty Dango & Alpha Bravo

Digital Media Champion Crazzy Steve reflects on his recent string of victories over Tommy Dreamer, Rhino and most recently, Joe Hendry. Steve says that there isn’t another human alive who could handle the type of pressure that he endures. The lights go out and Steve is confronted face-to-face by PCO.
Ace Austin w/ Chris Bey vs. Frankie Kazarian
After costing Eric Young the TNA World Championship at Sacrifice, Frankie Kazarian must now answer to Ace Austin! Before the match begins, Frankie Kazarian demands that ring announcer Jade Chung introduces him as the “King of TNA”. Kazarian pulls him throat-first into the top rope. Austin is perched on the top when Kazarian sends him toppling to the floor below. Back in the ring, Kazarian hits a springboard leg drop. Kazarian taunts Bey as he chokes Austin up against the guardrail. Austin creates separation with a back body drop, then quickens the pace with a flurry of strikes. Kazarian counters a springboard kick attempt into an Electric Chair for two. Austin avoids Fade to Black but Kazarian transitions into the Chicken Wing, forcing him to submit.

After the match, Kazarian attacks Chris Bey but a vengeful Eric Young chases him off.
TNA World Champion Moose and new TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards brag about their list of accolades. After Sacrifice, The System now hold more gold than ever before.
Gia Miller tries to get a word with Time Machine following their string of bad luck against Mustafa Ali and the Grizzled Young Vets. Speaking of GYV, they barge into the locker room and claim to the new top team in TNA Wrestling. Shelley tells them to prove it against the Time Splitters, which is comprised of him and KUSHIDA.
AJ Francis vs. Joe Hendry
Following a months-long game of one-upmanship, Joe Hendry and AJ Francis attempt to settle the score tonight! This match marks AJ’s singles debut in TNA Wrestling. Francis blindsides Hendry while he’s addressing the crowd and we’re underway. Hendry hits a big vertical suplex, followed by a running knee strike that he calls Tennessee Whisky. Hendry avoids the Chokeslam but gets caught with a back suplex instead. Hendry tries to pick Francis up on his shoulders but collapses under the big man. Hendry spikes him with a DDT to create separation. Hendry hits an impressive powerslam but it’s not enough. Francis uses the referee as a shield, causing Hendry to inadvertently collide with him. In a shocking turn of events, Rich Swann comes down to the ring and cracks Hendry with a steel chair. Francis capitalizes with the Chokeslam to win.

After dethroning MK Ultra at Sacrifice, Spitfire take to the ring for tag team action! Before the match begins, MK Ultra and Decay, both of whom are owed contractual rematches for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles, scout the new champions in the iMPACT! Zone. Luna takes out both of her opponents with a double vertical suplex. Threat launches Black into a sitdown powerbomb from Luna to score the dominant victory.

Tasha Steelz interrupts the show to challenge Jordynne Grace to a singles match for the Knockouts World Title next week. Steelz reminds us that she wasn’t pinned in the three-way match that also involved Xia Brookside at Sacrifice.
Next Thursday at 8/7c on AXS TV and 8:30pm ET on YouTube for Insiders, don’t miss an all-new TNA iMPACT! featuring:
Steve Maclin & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) vs. Nic Nemeth & Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven)
After Nic Nemeth triumphed over Steve Maclin at Sacrifice, the war continues in a six-man tag team main event! Bailey is setting up for an early Shooting Star but Wentz trips him up. Maclin capitalizes off the interference with a backbreaker to gain control. Maclin knocks Nemeth off the apron, before refocusing his attention on Bailey. Moments later, Bailey fights out of the corner with a leaping dropkick to Miguel. Bailey makes the tag to Sven, who turns Miguel inside out. Seven gets two for one chops Miguel into a DDT on Wentz. Maclin pulls Miguel off the shoulders of Seven, allowing his team to turn the tide. Seven is being worn on the opposite side of the ring as Maclin and the Rascalz employ quick tags. Seven is about to tag out but Maclin pulls Bailey off the apron. Seven picks Wentz off the top with a Superplex, allowing him to make the much-needed tag to Nemeth. Nemeth is on fire as he squares off with Maclin. Maclin gets a running splash hat trick to all of his opponents, followed by a flurry of elbow drops to Maclin. The action is fast and furious as everyone gets involved. Maclin dumps Nemeth over the top rope to the outside but inadvertently takes out Miguel with the SCUD Missile. As a result, the Rascalz walk out of Maclin. It’s three on one as Nemeth puts Maclin away with the Danger Zone to win.
Nic Nemeth & Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven) def. Steve Maclin & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)
After the match, The System hit the ring and start attacking Nemeth, Bailey and Seven. Alisha Edwards slows Nemeth from the outside, allowing Moose to clobber him with the TNA World Title. Moose does the same to Bailey and Seven before standing tall over a fallen Nemeth.

Meanwhile, Bailey and Seven are no strangers to singles championship gold, and their innovative offense as a duo could be the key to victory.

Both Moose and Francis have years of wrestling experience and Moose is the reigning TNA World Champion. But the NFL is where both launched their sporting careers.
MOOSE
Moose reclaimed the TNA World Championship on January 13, at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view extravaganza in Las Vegas, defeating Alex Shelley. Quinn Ojinnaka, the real-life Moose, played for four teams over seven seasons in the National Football League, including the New England Patriots, before transitioning to pro wrestling, making his wrestling debut in 2012. His NFL career included time as teammates with legendary quarterback Tom Brady while playing for one of the best NFL head coaches in history, Bill Belichick.
An offensive lineman, Ojinnaka played 62 NFL games after playing at Syracuse University and was selected in the fifth-round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. Moose and Bill Goldberg are the only former NFL players from the modern era to have gone from the NFL to become the World Champion of a pro wrestling company.
In fact, there are only four others in addition to Moose & Goldberg to have ever gone from the NFL to World Championship glory in pro wrestling, including Bronko Nagurski, who is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The others are Ernie Ladd, Dick the Bruiser and Gus Sonnenberg.
Sports Illustrated spotlighted Moose and his record-setting journey from the NFL to IMPACT World Champion: https://tinyurl.com/r8hdutuy.
AJ FRANCIS
Francis played college football at Maryland, then was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2013. His NFL career also included time with the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants.
Francis signed with WWE in January 2020 and competed as Top Dolla.
Francis has had a music career and was a viral sensation in 2015 as an Uber driver in the off-season while playing for the Dolphins.

Experience the fallout from Sacrifice as the road to Rebellion begins! Don’t miss an all-new TNA iMPACT! this Thursday at 8/7c on AXS TV and 8:30pm ET on YouTube for Insiders!
At Sacrifice, the heated rivalry between Nic Nemeth and Steve Maclin exploded when the two met in singles action for the first time ever. In the closing moments of their physically intense showdown, it was Nemeth who stood tall after sending Maclin to the Danger Zone. While the match at Sacrifice was contested one-on-one, their respective allies will re-enter the fray for a huge six-man tag team bout this Thursday. Battle lines have been drawn and war is about to begin as Steve Maclin, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz clash with Nic Nemeth, Mike Bailey and Trent Seven!
At No Surrender, Mustafa Ali made history when he dethroned Chris Sabin to become the new X-Division Champion in his TNA Wrestling debut. Just two weeks later at Sacrifice, Ali joined forces with his newfound allies in the Grizzled Young Vets for another huge victory over Time Machine after Sabin inadvertently struck his own partner, Alex Shelley. While there’s no doubt that Ali has ushered in a new era in the X-Division, it could all come crashing down when Chris Sabin receives his contractually-obligated rematch this Thursday. Who will leave iMPACT! as the X-Division Champion?
Just when it looked like Eric Young was going to “beat The System” and dethrone TNA World Champion Moose at Sacrifice, he was blindsided by a disguised Frankie Kazarian who choked out the “World Class Maniac” with a camera cable. Bitter over his loss to Young at No Surrender and subsequent suspension by Director of Authority Santino Marella, Kazarian had the last laugh when he cost Young the richest prize in the game. In a digital exclusive clip, Kazarian was involved in a post-match altercation with the former TNA World Tag Team Champions, ABC, which led to this singles showdown. This Thursday on iMPACT!, it’s Frankie Kazarian vs. Ace Austin!
In a huge rematch that had the wrestling world on the edge of their seats, the returning Hammerstone conquered Josh Alexander at Sacrifice. With the score in their personal series now tied at 1-1, what’s next for the “Walking Weapon”? Hopefully our questions will be answered when we hear from Josh Alexander this Thursday on iMPACT!
Joe Hendry and AJ Francis have been embroiled in a game of one-upmanship ever since Hendry interrupted the debut of AJ’s new music video at Hard To Kill. But tensions really escalated when Francis began to insert himself into Hendry’s matchups, most recently costing him the Digital Media Championship on Countdown to Sacrifice. Later in the night, Hendry demanded that the two settle the score one-on-one and the match was made for this Thursday’s iMPACT! by Director of Authority Santino Marella!
Dani Luna and Jody Threat captured lightning in a bottle at Sacrifice when they defeated MK Ultra to become Knockouts World Tag Team Champions for the very first time. Now known as Spitfire, the determined duo have had the number of Killer Kelly and Masha Slamovich for weeks, culminating in their big title victory. Luna and Threat are wasting no time getting back into the action as they take to the ring this Thursday!
