It’s an epic night of action on IMPACT! this Thursday at 8/7c on AXS TV and 8:30pm ET on YouTube for IMPACT Insiders.
This Thursday, IMPACT! plays host to a huge first-time-ever dream match as Will Ospreay goes one-on-one with Josh Alexander. Ospreay has been on a hot streak since coming to IMPACT Wrestling, racking up victories over “Speedball” Mike Bailey at Bound For Glory, and Eddie Edwards at Turning Point. But now, Ospreay must turn his attention towards the former longest-reigning IMPACT World Champion of all time, “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. Ospreay has praised Alexander in recent weeks, calling him one of the greatest wrestlers in professional wrestling today – but does he have what it takes to beat “The Aerial Assassin”? One thing is for certain, this match will be an absolute banger.
At Bound For Glory, Sonny Kiss made her shocking IMPACT debut as a surprise entrant in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. While Kiss was unable to score the victory and a championship opportunity of her choosing, a longtime wish of hers will still granted. This Thursday, Kiss will lock up with Knockouts World Champion Trinity for the first time ever, after Trinity humbly accepted her challenge.
The closing moments of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet saw Jordynne Grace valiantly defeat Bully Ray to secure a championship match of her choosing, and she has declared that it will take place against Knockouts World Champion Trinity at Hard To Kill. In a shocking turn of events last week, Bully offered a handshake to Grace before the two were confronted by Steve Maclin and KiLynn King, who insisted that Bully has become “soft”. This Thursday, tensions will explode in a combustible tag team showdown as Jordynne Grace and Bully Ray unite to battle Steve Maclin and KiLynn King.
Last week, an obsessed Kenny King confronted Director of Authority Santino Marella and demanded his rematch for Tommy Dreamer‘s Digital Media Championship. Marella once again declined his request, due to Dreamer’s ongoing situation with Crazzy Steve. However, King was granted a different championship opportunity as he and Sheldon Jean will challenge ABC for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles this Thursday. With a chance to reclaim championship gold, will King climb his way back to the top? Or will Ace Austin and Chris Bey continue their wave of momentum?
As Moose charges towards Hard To Kill and his TNA World Championship opportunity against Alex Shelley, he will look to make a statement when he battles Heath on IMPACT. Last week, Heath confronted Brian Myers after being eliminated by “The Most Professional Wrestler” in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. In an attempt to prove his loyalty, Moose came to the defense of Myers and Heath must now face off against the current #1 Contender instead.
Buckle up for this six-man tag team adrenaline rush. On one side, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz will be joined by the debuting Rascal, Myron Reed, as they take on the Luchador trio of Laredo Kid, Black Taurus and Juventud Guerrera. After returning in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory, another breathtaking chapter in Guerrera’s legendary career is about to unfold.
