Tonight’s episode of TNA iMPACT! is dedicated to the memory of Ole Anderson and Mike “Virgil” Jones.
The fallout from No Surrender begins and Sacrifice sits just eight nights away. An all-new TNA iMPACT! is on the air.
Mike Bailey w/ Trent Seven vs. Steve Maclin w/ The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)
After Steve Maclin cost Speedball Mountain their match against the Rascalz on Countdown to No Surrender, Mike Bailey is out for revenge tonight! The fight spills to the outside in the early as Bailey and Maclin exchange strikes. Maclin distracts the referee, allowing the Rascalz to deliver a chop block to Bailey. Bailey avoids Caught in the Crosshairs, then soars through the air to take down Maclin on the floor. Bailey goes for the double knees but Maclin counters into the SCUD Missile dive. Miguel provides another distraction as Maclin capitalizes with Mayhem For All for two. Turnabout is fair play as Seven gets up on the apron, preventing Maclin from hitting the KIA. Bailey hits a Poison Rana but crashes and burns on the follow-up Ultima Weapon. Maclin connects with the KIA to win.
Steve Maclin w/ The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) def Mike Bailey w/ Trent Seven
After the match, Steve Maclin claims that Nic Nemeth will never return to TNA Wrestling when out of nowhere, Nemeth appears on the screen. Nemeth says that the only reason he’s not in New Orleans is because he was in Japan becoming the new IWGP Global Champion. Nemeth reveals that he will return to TNA at Sacrifice on March 8th and challenges Maclin to a match!
Following his ruthless assault on a TNA referee at No Surrender, Frankie Kazarian has been suspended by Director of Authority Santino Marella. Gia Miller informs Kazarian that he is not permitted to enter the building as security holds him back.
Laredo Kid vs. Jake Something
Jake Something and Laredo Kid jockey for position in the stacked X-Division! Kid leaps over the top rope but Something catches him and hits a powerbomb on the floor. Back in the ring, Kid counters Into the Void with a superkick. Kid hits an innovative DDT, followed by a springboard Moonsault for two. From out of nowhere, Something connects with Into the Void to win.

Alan Angels welcomes Kon to his new talk show, Sound Check. Angels reminisces about their time together in The Design but says that they’re both doing better than ever on their own. Kon claims to have ended PCO at No Surrender when the “French Canadian Frankenstein” is resurrected once again.
AJ Francis & Deaner vs. Rich Swann & Joe Hendry
AJ Francis makes his TNA in-ring debut as he joins forces with Deaner to battle Rich Swann and Joe Hendry! The bell rings and Francis immediately takes a cheap shot at Hendry, knocking him off the apron. Deaner hits Swann with a pair strong Irish whips into the corner. Deaner goes for a third but Swann turns the tide with a step-up crossbody. Hendry chops Deaner, the delivers a stalling vertical suplex. Hendry gets some payback on Francis as he knocks him off the apron. Minutes later, Hendry hits Francis with a big DDT, allowing him to make the tag to Swann. The pace quickens as Swann goes on the attack. Swann leaps off the apron with a senton, taking out Francis on the floor. Swann hits Deaner with the handspring cutter, followed by the Standing Ovation from Hendry to win.

Decay is biding their time before coming after the new Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, MK Ultra.
Hammerstone has officially signed with TNA Wrestling! Following a stellar performance at Hard To Kill, Hammerstone will battle Josh Alexander in a huge rematch at Sacrifice streaming LIVE March 8th on TNA+.
Gia Miller interviews Josh Alexander regarding his upcoming rematch with Hammerstone but it’s interrupted by Dirty Dango, Alpha Bravo and Oleg Prudius who are looking for applicants for their new wrestling school. Alexander demands a match against Dango and says he’s going to have Director of Authority Santino Marella make it official.
The Good Hands introduce the new X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali for this special Inauguration Ceremony. Ali addresses the TNA fans and says that at No Surrender, they made the X-Division great again. Ali is about to issue his first executive order when former X-Division Champion Chris Sabin interrupts. Sabin dares him to step out from behind the podium and speak to him like a man. Sabin says that while they both believe in change, that is where their similarities end. While Sabin looks to inspire other to achieve their dreams, Ali manipulates others to do his dirty work and takes all the glory for himself. Sabin credits The Good Hands with giving Ali the advantage in their X-Division Title match at No Surrender. Ali fires back and says that the reason Sabin lost was because he didn’t have any supporters. Sabin says that he’s not here to debate, he’s here to fight as he strikes Ali in the jaw. The Good Hands jump Sabin until KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight even the odds. Sabin, KUSHIDA and Knight destroy the Inauguration Ceremony as Ali and The Good Hands retreat.
The Personal Concierge welcomes Ash By Elegance for a huge announcement – next week, she’ll be having her second match in TNA. You’re welcome.
A furious Mustafa Ali warns Chris Sabin, KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight that their actions will have consequences.
Tasha Steelz vs. Xia Brookside – Winner Challenges Jordynne Grace for Knockouts World Championship at Sacrifice
The rubber match between Tasha Steelz and Xia Brookside will determine who challenges Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Title at Sacrifice! Speaking of Grace, she’s seen watching this match on a monitor backstage. Brookside counters an early cutter attempt from Steelz, then hits a running crossbody for two. Brookside hits a Hurricanrana, followed by Broken Wings in the corner. Steelz avoids the Brooksie Bomb but Brookside kicks her to the outside instead. The fight spills to the floor, where Brookside hits a running neckbreaker. The brawl continues as both Knockouts prevent each other from re-entering the ring. The referee counts to 10, resulting in a double countout.

As Eric Young prepares to challenge Moose for the TNA World Championship at Sacrifice, it’s all about momentum in tonight’s six-man tag team main event! ABC take Myers down with a double dropkick. Myers retreats to the outside. Austin falls victim to The System’s constant numbers game as Alisha distracts the referee, allowing Moose to trip him up on the apron. Minutes later, it’s Eddie who provides the distractions this time as Alisha chokes Austin on the ropes. The System are in control as they cut off the ring and wear Austin down. Austin tags out of the match but Eddie and Myers have the referee’s attention diverted. Austin sends Myers crashing into Moose, allowing him to make the much-needed tag to Young. The pace quickens as Young goes on the attack. Young hits Eddie with a Death Valley Driver, then drops Myers onto his own partner. Ever since Nic Nemeth’s earth-shattering arrival at Hard To Kill, Steve Maclin has made it his mission to rid TNA Wrestling of the “Wanted Man”. Following an assault at the hands of Maclin in Puerto Rico, Nemeth has been absent from TNA – until now. On the first iMPACT! after No Surrender, Nemeth confronted Maclin in a video message, revealing that he’s been competing in Japan and has even become the IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion. But now, Nemeth is on his way back to TNA – and he’s coming after Maclin! At Sacrifice, Maclin has the opportunity he’s been waiting for, a chance to end Nemeth once and for all – but can he get the job done? Or will Nemeth continue his momentous rise to the top?
At No Surrender, Jordynne Grace remained Knockouts World Champion in a hard-fought victory over Gisele Shaw. Less than one week later, a new #1 Contender was set to be crowned in the rubber match between two heated rivals, Tasha Steelz and Xia Brookside. But when the match ended in a double countout, Jordynne’s next challenger became a mystery – until the “Juggernaut” made this blockbuster announcement: At Sacrifice, Jordynne Grace will put her Knockouts World Title on the line against not one but two challengers as she defends against both Tasha Steelz and Xia Brookside. Steelz is no stranger to being champion, having held the Knockouts World Title for over 100 days. Meanwhile, Brookside is looking to capture the gold for the first time in her young career. Three will walk in but only one can leave as champion!
After the headline-making news that Hammerstone has signed with TNA Wrestling, we now know who his first opponent will be as an official member of the roster. At Sacrifice, it’s Alexander vs. Hammerstone 2 as these powerhouses run it back following their stellar encounter this past January. Hammerstone took Alexander to his absolute limit at Hard To Kill and there’s no doubt that he will be looking to make a statement in his return to TNA. Meanwhile, Alexander is poised to reclaim the TNA World Championship and a win over Hammerstone would keep his wave of momentum alive. Who is willing to make the ultimate Sacrifice?
Mustafa Ali brought change to the X-Division when he dethroned Chris Sabin in the historic main event of No Surrender – but of course, it wasn’t without the help of his loyal supporters, The Good Hands. The following week on iMPACT!, Ali’s X-Division Championship Inauguration Ceremony was crashed by Sabin, who brought backup in the form of longtime allies KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight. At Sacrifice, revenge is in the air as Ali teams with John Skyler and Jason Hotch to battle Sabin, KUSHIDA and Knight in a huge six-man tag team showdown.

With Sacrifice just eight nights away, there’s no telling what might happen on an all-new TNA iMPACT! this Thursday at 8/7c on AXS TV and 8:30pm ET on YouTube for Insiders!
The stage was set at No Surrender as Moose retained the TNA World Championship over Alex Shelley in a brutal No Surrender Rules match. Meanwhile, Eric Young became the new #1 Contender to the TNA World Championship when he defeated his former friend and ally, Frankie Kazarian. With the TNA World Title clash between Moose and EY already official for Sacrifice on March 8th, the battle will begin this Thursday. The System will once again compete in six-man tag team action as they face off against Eric Young and the TNA World Tag Team Champions, ABC!
For the first time since 2005, an X-Division Championship match was the main event of a TNA pay-per-view event when Chris Sabin defended against Mustafa Ali at No Surrender. Following a hard-fought battle, it was Ali who reigned supreme in his TNA debut to become the new X-Division Champion, bringing an end to Sabin’s history-making reign. This Thursday, a new era begins as Ali will hold his official X-Division Championship Inauguration Ceremony!
Last Friday on Countdown to No Surrender, the Speedball Mountain duo of Mike Bailey and Trent Seven were well on their way to victory over the Rascalz when Steve Maclin appeared out of nowhere and delivered a chop block to Bailey. The attack allowed the Rascalz to steal the victory after Wentz capitalized off the distraction and forced Bailey to submit. Maclin must face the innovative offense of a vengeful Bailey this Thursday!
After making a splash in the Knockouts Ultimate X match at Hard To Kill, Xia Brookside has become the prime target of former Knockouts World Champion, Tasha Steelz. The two have traded wins on recent episodes of iMPACT!, leading to a heated rubber match this Thursday. Not only will their personal rivalry be settled, but the stakes are higher than ever as the winner will receive a Knockouts World Championship opportunity against Jordynne Grace, March 8th at Sacrifice!
For weeks, AJ Francis has been a thorn in the side of Rich Swann. After Swann and many other members of the TNA roster made it clear that they didn’t want to be associated with him, Francis decided to make an example out of Swann by costing him his match against Jason Hotch. But when Francis joined Deaner for a 2-on-1 assault on another one of his enemies, Joe Hendry, it was Swann who evened the odds and sent Francis retreating. This Thursday, Francis makes his TNA in-ring debut as he joins Deaner in tag team action against Rich Swann and Joe Hendry!
After making his triumphant return to TNA Wrestling last year, Jake Something has continued to elevate his game. Before Chris Sabin and Mustafa Ali clashed for the X-Division Championship at No Surrender, Something made it clear that his next goal is to capture the X-Division Championship for the first time ever. This Thursday, Jake’s journey will begin but standing in his way will be another competitor who has his sights set on the gold, Laredo Kid!
