Everything is on the line tonight for the X Division, as some of IMPACT’s brightest stars go head-to-head to win the X Division Championship. High flyers Suicide, ex-Helms Dynasty member Andrew Everett, Braxton Sutter and current X Champion Trevor Lee will battle it out inside the six-sided ring in a thrilling, action-packed match that will not disappoint.
This will be an important match for everyone involved. It is also the first time that the original Suicide has been on IMPACT since July 2013. Last time we saw Suicide, he lost an Ultimate X match for the X Division Championship to Chris Sabin. Later, Austin Aries attacked Suicide and stole his costume in a scheme to win the X Title. Aries was successful and Suicide was livid. When he returns to the ring tonight, years of pent up aggression will be used as he strives for the X Division Championship.
Adding yet another dimension to the 4-way match is the bad-blood between former “brothers” Andrew Everett and Trevor Lee. The falling out between the two has been nothing but controversial since the first time Gregory Shane Helms and Trevor Lee embarrassed Andrew Everett claiming that he was the weakest link in the Helms Dynasty. Several shots have been fired since, so this rivalry could come to a head tonight with the X Title up for grabs.
Braxton Sutter has never won the X Division Championship, but is hoping to change that in tonight’s match-up. Coming off a strong win last week against DJZ, Marshe Rockett and Caleb Konley, Sutter is confident in his abilities to take the X Title from Trevor Lee. With the support of his new lady, Allie, Sutter has a strong potential to gain his first X Division Championship.
As previously stated, this X Division Match is one for the books and you won’t want to just hear about it after the fact. You will want to watch it live! #IMPACTonPop kicks off tonight at 8/7c.
