Mike Bailey Triumphs Over DOUKI on Day 6 of NJPW Best of the Super Jr. 30
The action continued on day 6 of the NJPW Best of the Super Jr. 30 as Mike Bailey battled DOUKI in Iwate. DOUKI had an answer for the high-flying offense of Bailey as the match got underway. Bailey attempted the running Shooting Star but DOUKI countered into a submission. DOUKI evaded Ultima Weapon but was still on the receiving end of standing double knees from Bailey. DOUKI continued to have Bailey scouted as he countered the Flamingo Driver into a pinning predicament. Bailey soared with a springboard Moonsault to the outside. Back in the ring, DOUKI spiked him with the Daybreak DDT for two. DOUKI is wide open in the corner for Bailey’s signature running kick. Bailey followed up with Ultima Weapon to score the victory, bringing his tournament record to 5-1. Bailey currently sits in 1st place in A Block.
