My identity was always just “the wrestler.” It isn’t until now, 10 years into my career, at 28 years old, that I’m learning I am so much more than that. Yes, I am a wrestler but I am also business woman, a wife, a dog mom, a history nerd and a soon to be college graduate. Women don’t just need to be just ONE thing. We need to embrace and be proud of all that we are and what makes us unique in order to continue to spark change for women all over the world.”

"The parallels between being a Firefighter and a Professional Wrestler are endless. Both careers are made up of my chosen family, my brothers and sisters. Both are team sports as much as they require one to perform at a high level on an individual basis. Both careers require you to always be there for your team. To pick up the slack and offer a shoulder to lean on, because that is what family does. Being in both fields has allowed me to embrace both my masculine and feminine qualities.
